Today, the 14th of Feb. is a big day here in Thailand. It is not only Valentine's Day but also Buddha Day and Full Moon Day. I had sent a card to several loved ones saying that everyone should spoil themselves today and then I decided to do that for myself so off I went to a small lovely Wat that is not usually open to pay my respects to Buddha and then over to the nearby beautiful park where the flowers and trees are in bloom. Later had a Thai breakfast which consists of soup, fresh fruit and coffee. Later a cool bike ride. A pause at my favourite cafe for an iced coffee and a Magnum Almond ice cream with a nice chat with Thai friends. Just perfect.
